United States of America: Extension of definitive countervailing duties on imports of certain plastic decorative ribbon from China

In January 2018, the United States initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of certain plastic decorative ribbon from China. The investigation is still in progress. In June 2018, a provisional duty was imposed. The investigation is still in progress. In March 2019, a definitive duty was imposed. In February 2024, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in October 2024 (the applicable duty extension date is in September 2024).
