In October 2015, the United States initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of welded stainless pressure pipe from India. In March 2016, a provisional duty was imposed. In November 2016, a definitive duty was imposed. In October 2021, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in May 2022.
