In April 2015, the United States initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of certain polyethylene terephthalate resin from Oman. The investigation is still in progress. In August 2015, a provisional duty was imposed. The investigation is still in progress. In March 2016, the provisional duty was terminated.
