In September 2014, the United States initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of boltless steel shelving units prepackaged for sale from China. The investigation is still in progress. In January 2015, a provisional duty was imposed. The investigation is still in progress. In October 2015, a definitive duty was imposed. In September 2020, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in May 2021. In April 2026, a sunset review was initiated.
