In January 2014, the United States initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of calcium hypochlorite from China. The investigation is still in progress. In May 2014, a provisional duty was imposed. The investigation is still in progress. In January 2015, a definitive duty was imposed. In December 2019, a sunset review was initiated, and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in July 2020. In June 2025, a sunset review was initiated, and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in February 2026.
