United States of America: Extension of countervailing duty on imports of steel wire garment hangers from Viet Nam, as well as initiation of anti-circumvention investigation on imports from Cambodia

In January 2012, the United States initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of steel wire garment hangers from Viet Nam. The investigation is still in progress. In June 2012, a provisional duty was imposed. The investigation is still in progress. In February 2013, a definitive duty was imposed. In November 2017, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in August 2018. In April 2023, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive countervailing duty was extended for a new period in October 2023. In August 2025, an anti-circumvention investigation on imports from Cambodia was initiated.
