In March 2012, the United States initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of drawn stainless steel sinks from China. The investigation is still in progress. In August 2012, a provisional duty was imposed. The investigation is still in progress. In April 2013, a definitive duty was imposed. In March 2018, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in August 2018. In July 2023, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in February 2024.
