In October 2009, the United States initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of certain coated paper from China and Indonesia. In March 2010, a provisional duty was imposed. In November 2010, a definitive duty was imposed. In October 2015, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in January 2017. In October 2019, an anticircumvention investigation was initiated. The investigation is still ongoing. In December 2021, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in June 2022.
