United States of America: Extension of countervailing duty on imports of commodity matchbooks from India

In November 2008, the United States initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of commodity matchbooks from India. The investigation is still in progress. In April 2009, a provisional duty was imposed. The investigation is still in progress. In December 2009, a definitive duty was imposed. In November 2014, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in April 2015. In March 2020, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in November 2020. In October 2025, a sunset review was initiated.
