In January 2010, the United States initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of drill pipe from China. The investigation is still in progress. In June 2010, a provisional duty was imposed. The investigation is still in progress. In March 2011, a definitive duty was imposed. In December 2014, the definitive duty was terminated.
