United States of America: Extension of definitive countervailing duties on imports of certain cold-rolled steel flat products from India, China, and the Republic of Korea

In August 2015, the United States initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of certain cold-rolled steel flat products from Brazil, China, India, Rep. of Korea and Russia. In December 2015, a provisional duty was imposed. In July 2016, a definitive duty was imposed on China. In September 2016, the definitive duty was terminated from Russia. In September 2016, a definitive duty was imposed on Brazil, India and Rep. of Korea. In June 2021, a sunset review was initiated on Brazil, China, India and Rep. of Korea. The definitive duty on the import of goods from China, India and the Republic of Korea was extended for a new period in August 2022. In August 2022, the definitive duty was terminated from Brazil.
