In November 2011, the United States initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of circular welded carbon-quality steel pipe from India, Oman, United Arab Emirates and Viet Nam. The investigation is still in progress. In March 2012, a provisional duty was imposed on India, United Arab Emirates and Viet Nam. In April 2012, a provisional duty was imposed on Oman. The investigation is still in progress. In October 2012, the provisional duty was terminated from Viet Nam. In December 2012, the provisional duty was terminated from Oman and United Arab Emirates.
