In September 2020, the Philippine authorities initiated a safeguard investigation on imports of certain types of high and low-density polyethylene pellets and granules. In June 2022, the investigation was terminated on low-density polyethylene pellets and granules. In October 2022, a definitive duty was imposed on high-density polyethylene pellets and granules.
