In January 2014, the government of Indonesia initiated a new safeguard investigation and definitive duties were imposed in January 2015. A sunset review was initiated in August 2017 and the duty was extended for a period of three years in January 2018. In January 2021, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in May 2022.
