In December 2020, the government of Indonesia increased the loan facility to SMEs through the Kredit Usaha Rakyat (KUR) programme from IDR 190 trillion (USD 13.47 billion) in 2020 to IDR 235 trillion (USD 17.75 billion) in 2021.
