In July 2013, the government of Brazil initiated a new anti-dumping investigation and imposed a definitive duty in December 2014. In December 2019, a sunset review was initiated, and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in February 2021 on imports from China, Egypt, Mexico and the United Arab Emirates. The duty was immediately suspended on imports from Mexico. The duty was terminated on imports from Saudi Arabia, and the United States. In February 2026, a sunset review was initiated on imports from China, Egypt, Mexico and the United Arab Emirates.
