In November 2008, the government of India initiated a new anti-dumping investigation and imposed definitive duties in April 2009. In February 2010, a definitive duty was imposed on imports from China, Chinese Taipei, the EU, South Africa, the Republic of Korea, Thailand and the United States. No duty was extended on imports from Japan. In In April 2014, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in December 2015. In September 2020, a sunset review was initiated.
