In January 2009, the government of Brazil initiated an antidumping investigation. In December 2010, a definitive duty was imposed. In December 2015, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in November 2016. In October 2021 a new sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in October 2022, and immediately suspended. In February 2024, the Brazilian authorities resumed the definitive duty.
