In February 2021, the European Commission initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of stainless steel cold-rolled flat products from India and Indonesia. In March 2022, a definitive duty was imposed. In August 2023, an anti-circumvention investigation on imports from Chinese Taipei, Turkiye and Vietnam was initiated.
