In July 2020, the Australian authorities initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of concrete underlay film from Malaysia. In September 2021, a provisional duty was imposed. In December 2021, a definitive duty was imposed. In June 2022, an anti-circumvention investigation on imports from Malaysia was initiated. In April 2025, an anti-circumvention investigation on imports from Malaysia was initiated. In November 2025, the definitive duty was extended to imports of a slightly different product from Malaysia following the conclusion of an anti-circumvention investigation (appicable duty imposition in April 2025).
