On 29 March 2020, the Egyptian Ministry of Trade and Industry decreased the past export duty rate on textile scrap and waste for one year.
Update:
In March 2021, the Ministry of Trade and Industry issued no. 148 of 2021 that extends the export duty on textile scrap and waste for an additional year.
