In July 2019, the Secretariat General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of certain cement products from Iran. In July 2020, a definitive duty was imposed. In March 2025, a sunset review was initiated, and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in April 2026 (effective May 2026).
