In September 2019, the Japanese authorities initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of tris (chloropropyl) phosphate from China. A provisional duty was imposed in June 2020. In September 2020, a definitive duty was imposed. In September 2025, the definitive duty was terminated.

Recent update from 05 Feb 2026:
On 16 September 2025, the Japanese authorities terminated the antidumping duty imposed on imports of the subject good from China. The antidumping duty is terminated as it was set to expire.
