In December 2014, the Italian authorities notified the European Commission of the establishment of an SME investment aid scheme to support the purchase of new equipment and machinery by SMEs. This follows the issuance of Circular on 24 December 2014 n. 71299 adapting the scheme to certain EU requirements.
