In July 2011, the European Commission initiated a sunset review and extended the definitive duty in September 2012. A sunset review was initiated in September 2017 and the definitive duty was extended in November 2018. In November 2023, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in January 2025.
