In September 2019, the Indian authorities initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of textured tempered glass from Malaysia. In March 2021, a definitive duty was imposed. In June 2025, a sunset review was initiated.

On 7 December 2025, the Indian authorities extended the definitive duty imposed on imports of the subject good from Malaysia until 8 June 2026, following the initiation of the sunset review.
