In September 2019, the Indian authorities initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of flexible slabstock polyol from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. In April 2021, a definitive duty was imposed. In March 2025, a sunset review on imports from Saudi Arabia was initiated.
