In August 2019, the Mexican authorities initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of certain zippers from China. In February 2020, a provisional duty was imposed. The investigation is still in progress. In January 2021, a definitive duty was imposed. In December 2025, a sunset review was initiated.
