In July 2019, the Indian authorities initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of flat-rolled stainless steel products from China, the Republic of Korea, the European Union, Japan, Chinese Taipei, Indonesia, the United States, Thailand, South Africa, the United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, Singapore, Mexico, Viet Nam and Malaysia. The investigation is still in progress.
