Egypt: Extension of export duty on some mineral products whilst adding some new items

On 7 February 2017, the Egyptian Ministry of Trade and Industry issued Ministerial Decree no. 145/2017 imposing an export duty on some mineral products. Later in 2017, one tariff line was amended. On 10 February 2018, Ministerial decree no. 91/2018 was issued extending the duty level without any changes. Some Duty levels were extended without a change in February 2019 and February 2020 and others were changed. 

Update:

In February 2021, the Ministry of Trade and Industry issued decree no. 82 of 2021 that extends the imposition of export duties on mineral ores for one year.
