In January 2019, the European Investment Bank (EIB) signed a loan agreement with Energetyka Cieplna Opolszczyzny SA (ECO Group) to support its modernisation and expansion of its district heating distribution system in Poland. The loan will be guaranteed by the European Fund for Strategic Investment (EFSI).
