In April 2019, the Argentinian authorities initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of poly (ethylene terephthalate) from Oman. In October 2020, a definitive duty was imposed. In June 2023, the definitive duty was temporarily suspended. In October 2025, the definitive duty was terminated.

Recent update from 05 Feb 2026:
On 14 October 2025, the Argentinian authorities terminated the antidumping duty imposed on imports of the subject good from China. The antidumping duty is terminated as it was set to expire.
