On 17 May 2017, the European Commission announced the introduction of amendments to the General Block Exemption Regulation. In June 2017, the European Commission issued Commission Regulation (EU) 2017/1084 of 14 June 2017 amending the scope of state aid measures exempt from notification and approval requirements under the General Block Exemption Regulation.
