In March 2019, the Indian Directorate General of Trade Remedies, Department of Commerce initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of chlorinated polyvinyl chloride from the Republic of Korea and China. In August 2019, a provisional duty was imposed. In March 2020, a definitive duty was imposed. In January 2024, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in August 2024.
