In October 2018, the Vietnamese authorities initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of certain flat-rolled steel products from China and the Republic of Korea. In June 2019, a provisional antidumping duty was imposed. In October 2019, a definitive duty was imposed. In January 2023, the duty on imports from China was amended.
