In February 2019, the European Investment Bank (EIB) signed a loan agreement with Aperam S.A. to support its investments in a "stainless steel advanced manufacturing cold rolling mill", finishing equipment and the modernisation of two stainless steel plants. The investment activities are to be carried out in France and Belgium between 2018 and 2021.
