In June 2012, the government of Australia initiated a new antidumping investigation and definitive duties were imposed in December 2017. In December 2017, the definitive duty imposed on imports from Chinese Taipei was extended, whilst the duty on imports from Japan, Republic of Korea and Malaysia were terminated following a sunset review. In January 2022 a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in November 2022.
