In December 2016, the European Investment Bank (EIB) signed a loan agreement with Eneco Holding NV and Nethys S.A. to support their construction and operation of the Norther wind farm project located off the coast of Belgium. The loan will be guaranteed by the European Fund for Strategic Investment (EFSI).
