In September 2018, the Eurasian Economic Union initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of hot-rolled seamless stainless steel pipe from China. In December 2019, a definitive duty was imposed. In September 2024, a sunset review was initiated, and the duty was extended for a new period in June 2025.
