In May 2018, the European Investment Bank (EIB) signed a loan agreement with Bsp Pharmaceuticals S.p.A. to support its production capacity expansion of "injectable anti-cancer drugs" as well as R&D expenses. The loan will be guaranteed by the European Fund for Strategic Investment (EFSI).
