In August 2012, the Chinese authorities initiated a sunset review of the definitive antidumping duty imposed on imports of Bisphenol-A from Japan, the Republic of Korea, Singapore and Chinese Taipei. In August 2013, the duty was extended for a new imposition period. In August 2018, a second sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in August 2019.
