In March 2018, the Indian authorities initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of new pneumatic tyres for buses and lorries from China. In June 2019, a definitive countervailing duty was imposed. In January 2024, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in July 2024.
