Malaysia: Temporary changes in export duty of crude palm oil (1 September 2018 to 28 February 2019)

On 17 August 2018, the Malaysian government announced an export duty of 0% for crude palm oil ("CPO") for the period of 1 to 30 September 2018, a decrease from previous months.

On 20 September 2018, the Malaysian government announced an export duty of 0% for crude palm oil ("CPO") for the period of 1 to 31 October 2018, same as the previous month.

On 16 October 2018, the Malaysian government announced an export duty of 0% for crude palm oil ("CPO") for the period of 1 to 30 November 2018, same as the previous month.

On 16 November 2018, the Malaysian government announced an export duty of 0% for crude palm oil ("CPO") for the period of 1 to 31 December 2018, same as the previous month.

On 12 December 2018, the Malaysian government announced an export duty of 0% for crude palm oil ("CPO") for the period of 1 to 31 January 2019, same as the previous month.

On 14 January 2019, the Malaysian government announced an export duty of 0% for crude palm oil ("CPO") for the period of 1 to 28 February 2019, same as the previous month.

On 15 February 2019, the Malaysian government announced an export duty of 0% for crude palm oil ("CPO") for the period of 1 to 31 March 2019, same as the previous month.

The Malaysian palm oil crude export tax is based on a variable scheme, which is determined by the set CPO market price set by the Malaysian government.
