In April 2018, Chinese Taipei initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of SUS 300 series flat-rolled products of stainless steel, cold-rolled (cold-reduced) from China. In October 2019, Chinese Taipei imposed a definitive countervailing duty and immediately suspended the duty due to the country's economic interest.
