In April 2018, Chinese Taipei initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of certain flat-rolled steel products, plated or coated with zinc or zinc-alloys from China. In October 2019, Chinese Taipei imposed a definitive countervailing duty and immediately suspended the duty due to the country's economic interest.
