In April 2018, Chinese Taipei initiated an anti-dumping and an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of certain flat-rolled products of stainless steel, hot-rolled from China. In October 2019, Chinese Taipei imposed a definitive antidumping and countervailing duty and immediately suspended the duty due to the country's economic interest.
