In April 2018, the members of SACU initiated a safeguard investigation on imports of other screws fully threaded with hexagon heads made of steel. Provisional duties were imposed in August 2018. In February 2019, a definitive duty was imposed. In May 2021, a review was initiated and the safeguard measure was extended in August 2021.
