On March 23, 2018, The Japanese Bank of International Cooperation (JBIC) signed a $188 million loan agreement for the financing of PT Supreme Energy Rantau Dedap (SERD) and other sponsors for the Rantau Dedap Geothermal Power Project in Indonesia, which are heavily invested in by Japanese Marubeni Corporation, Tohoku Electric Power Co., Ltd.
