Australia: Extension of definitive antidumping duty on imports of railway wheels China and termination of provisional countervailing duty on imports from China, as well as termination of the definitive duty on imports from France

In April 2018, the Australian Anti-Dumping Commission initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of railway wheels from France and China and an anti-subsidy investigation on imports from China. Provisional duties were imposed in June 2018. In January 2019, the anti-subsidy investigation was terminated without the imposition of duties. In July 2019, a definitive antidumping duty was imposed. In August 2023, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty on imports from China was extended for a new period in July 2024. In July 2024, the definitive duty on imports from France was terminated.
