On 31 October 2017, the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China issued the English version of Announcement No. 67 of 2017, which initiates an antidumping investigation on imports of ethanolamine from the United States, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia and Thailand. A provisional duty was imposed in June 2018. In October 2018, a definitive duty was imposed. In October 2023, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in October 2024.
